MENU
Our inspiration comes from the iconic Marais district in Paris, where falafel stalls are lined with white tablecloths and modern French neo-bistro cuisine.
MARAIS is a neo-bistro with a Middle Eastern touch with a bang on flavors and spices. We use Danish Ingrid peas, flour from Samsø and many of our vegetables arrive fresh from the fields of small skilled growers around Aarhus. Growers who, like us, make an effort every day.
We get fish, mussels and oysters from Havnens Fiskehus - meat from the Skanderborg and Limfjord areas and poultry from France.
Food should be experienced together, which is why the dishes are made to be shared and eaten family style.

If you sit back and close your eyes, you'll suddenly be within easy reach of spice bazaars and bustling Parisian streets. The inspiration for MARAIS bistro.bar comes from afar, but the ingredients are not.
Because no good thing lasts forever, we have put together the menu based on the best the season has to offer, and we are constantly changing the dishes.
Reservations are made for sold-out dishes, spontaneous chef whims and price changes.
